- Dear Dr Randhawa,
Well done .The topic has been very lucidly and succintly discussed. We have started seeing BK virus nephropathy in India thanks to the advent of Tacrolimus( generic versions)and also due to better awareness.Your slide shows Lord Rama and Hanuman and do you think Indian transplant professionals need to look more for BK virus graft dysfunction as even in a city like Bangalore we have monkeys visiting us and my unit at Mallya Hopsital is still not fully monkey proof and monkeys regualarly peep thro the glass windows of our dialysis unit!!
